Jarod The Pretender In the USA, Nobody Knows Him!
After six months of investigation, Voici has been unable to find Michael T. Weiss.

*** In Los Angeles, Jarod has blended into the background. The result: nobody recognizes him. Michael T. Weiss We have found the Pretender.

Portraying a fugitive searching for his identity for 5 years, takes a toll on one’s personality. But we have ended confusing the two!

Since the end of the series in 2001 (shown daily on French TV network M6 at 6:50pm), we lost all traces of the Pretender. Impossible to find him. Michael T. Weiss managed to disappear in the same manner as the exceptionally gifted Jarod would elude the lovely Miss Parker. Even in the United States, he was unknown: “Michael who?”. That is until last week, when we finally caught up with him.

At the age of 41, Michael lives a quiet life in Los Angeles. Dressed in a T-shirt and jeans, our man looks like any other Californian, thus blending into the Marina Del Rey background. The Pretender had found the perfect camouflage, even adopting the ways of those around him (bicycling, using an environmentally friendly car, and practicing yoga). Amazing thing really when we know that Michael T. Weiss could have enjoyed a career such as George Clooney’s, a man he has been compared to. Same hair, same male confidence, same ravaging affect on women. His fans are confused. So are we! To think the Hollywood curse has struck again: think of Pal, the collie from “Lassie”. Michael has been overwhelmed by Jarod. And Jarod, to better disguise himself, took on the personality of someone other than a pilot or doctor. He took on the personality of an anonymous actor, Michael T. Weiss! It is practical, after all they look alike and live in the same city. Not only in Hollywood do you find unemployed actors, but by playing his cards in this way, he can miss his casting call chances and stay anonymous. Cunning!

Now if we could only find the beautiful Miss Parker and tell her this tale.

Top left photo, where he’s hugging the woman: “Sympathetic, always available to the neighbors; with him, you always know what color skin there is!” (as a reference to the chameleon’s skin)

The second pic on the right, where he is making a face: “Michael is so transparent, one feels that they know him. Sometimes, he shows all of his colors.”
