Just curious to where everyone has gone? It seems to be very quiet on here...of course I battle boredom constantly lately lol! I hope that means that most of you are working and are enjoying what life has to offer!  Hopefully I will get a job soon!! Keep your fingers crossed!!

I'm ready for my Norway tour soon and I asked news there, my finnish friend told me it was snowing a little bit in North Norway the next week with only 4c (39F)...I think I should bring some warm clothes   No doubt it'll be worse in North Cape, with the frozen wind...!
I hope I'll see reindeers on the road !
I'm trying to imagine what is a 24h day without night...hah

I think imagining a 24hr day with out night would be almost as difficult as a 24hr day without sun. I think in either case I would go bonkers!

Wade is from Alaska and he hated the twilight days AND nights for a few months out of the year!

hahah thank you     I don't know how my finnish friend living at 68 Degrees North Latitude bears that xD What is his secret, huh ? Maybe he's masochistic ? hahaha
Maybe yes, because he wants to move further north...he's sooo funny !
No, the true masochistic people is the few students who are studying in Svalbard ! they are very masochistic ! : The midnight sun can be seen in Longyearbyen from April 19 until August 24, but between October 28 until February 16 the sun does not appear above the horizon at all.

Being a little bit masochistic, one time I and a friend thought about going to study there for few month together...I have to admit

mmm...beautiful! I would love to visit there. I do have Norwegian blood in me I love the misty cliffs and the lake photos best! So much green! Thanks for sharing sweetie!

Oh...I forgot to put a pic taken around 00:30 AM in North Cape...and it was like that all the night there (above the Arctic Circle) I didn't see the night for 4 days, but it wasn't a problem for me because I tried to sleep easily as usualy but it was weird


I should warn you about northern parts in North Europe (Lapland, Finnmark etc..) : TONS of mosquitos in summer there !!!! TONS of mosquitos everywhere...it was scary ! really, it was sometimes as hell !!!  

BTW...I just asked about it to my finnish friend living there..and he does not reassure me because he told me that this summer there are only few ....!
