Well that's strange!

I just clicked on more and it was fine .... try again hon, might have been a hiccup on the server ....

Let me know if you still have the problem!

Dear Karen

Today I tried to add a pic of my cats to a reply.  I went in thru additional options and attach a file but the file was to big.  Is there another way to put a pic in.

Thanks Smokey

Hey Smokey!

Use a photo program and reduce the size

Karen

What type of photo program do you mean.  Is it like clipart or something?

Thanks Smokey

Hey smokey,

Microsoft  does have a image resizer you can download for free.
Go to  microsoft powertoys page;
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Scroll down and find the Image resizer exe
click on it and install the file.
next,  go to your picture, right click ( right click from mouse )
now you will see the option Resize Pictures
You can use this everytime you wanna resize a piccy
Have fun !
Merian.

OK now please forgive me and have patience, but I still don't know what to do with this picture.

Currently it is saved in "my documents' under 'my pictures' and is 850kb.  I have compressed this photo.

I've never had anything to do with a chat room, but went and had a look.

Does it ever show chats which others had previously?

Hey Smokey!

You might be able to save your chats, but as far as viewing chat scripts by other forum members .... I kinda doubt that's gonna be possible.

I had a chat room on another version of this site once before but it was hardly used (before the site became popular) and on the rare occasion someone did use it .... it was turned into a porn chat room so I wound up deleting it .... and hadn't really thought about it anymore until (was it you) suggested we have a forum chat and I thought it would be more fun to have our own chat room.

I think it is a great idea for the chat room, and thanks for putting one up.  I would like to read the messages but then again, it is good to have it this way, then it shouldn't get inappropriate messages on it.

Dear Karen

I have been speaking to Serge from VSM festival site.  It seems that my connection speed is not fast enough.
Hi Lori,

This is the problem. You need a faster connection: higher than 350kps and ideally higher than 1100kps, witch can be found with most DSL or T1.

The upgrade will improve everything you do on the internet.

Best,
Serge

How can I fix this, and what does DSL or T1 mean?

Regards Lori

No Broadband.  I have been on the phone to telsta (service provider) on and off for 3 days now.  Yet no one can seem to help me get it right.

Broadband is DSL so I don't get it (apparently Tesla doesn't either!). Keep plugging away at 'em hon .... you'll eventually get someone who knows what they're doing.
