I hope no-one will mind if I use the forum to say a few words in memory of a lady called Anita Roddick who died last week ....

She was the founder of and driving force behind a company called the Body Shop .... one of the first "green" companies in the retail sector

From humble beginings in her own kitchen, the Body Shop became a household name quickly, with Anita herself travelling the world researching and acquiring natural and ethical products

Even though she eventually sold the company, she remained an active force in the business comunity, speaking out against such things as animal testing, over-packaging of products and unethical working practices etc

This remarkable woman accomplished more in her 64 years on this planet than I could ever hope to if I live to be a hundred .... she will be greatly missed, but I feel confident that her legacy will live on in the many people she inspired ......
