'RAZOR SHARP' PREMIERES AT L.A. THEATER

Wizard World Texas Film Festival winner shown in front of select group including cast and crew in downtown L.A.

The winner of the 2006 Wizard World Texas Film Festival "Razor Sharp" premiered to cast and crew on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in Los Angeles. Shown to a near-capacity crowd, the screening marked the first chance that many of those involved in the production had seen the finished film, as well as the first opportunity for film industry executives to get a peak into the world of corporate thief Veronica Sharpe.

"'Razor Sharp' was something I had been kicking around for a while, but it really snapped into focus once 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' went off the air," 27-year old writer/director Marcus Perry said. "Not only did I feel like I was losing some great friends (oh shameless Joss Whedonite that I am), but I realized there wasn't another role like that for women," Perry said.

Sent on a unique mission to steal an exotic codebreaker from a high-security skyscraper Veronica Sharpe (played by Cassidy Freeman) battles her way through the towers defenses onluy to find her morality and skill put to the ultimate test once she's confronted with the explosive reality of the codebreaker itself.

The movie features a dynamic cast that includes the aforementioned Cassidy Freeman, Adam Gregor, Michael T. Weiss (TV's The Pretender), and Skye McCole Bartusiak (The Patriot, Don't Say a Word, Boogeyman) All five were in attendance January 10th along with "Little Miss Sunshine" star Abigail Breslin also attended the screening.

RAZOR SHARP will screen March 17th in Los Angeles when the Wizard World Tour hits The Staples Convention Center. For video of the premiere, please visit the film's official website: www.razorsharpmovie.com.
