Atlantic Theater Company, the off-Broadway group founded by playwright David Mamet and actor William H. Macy, is currently celebrating a major milestone: its 25th anniversary season! The company that has churned out hits like Spring Awakening and won 12 Tony Awards over the years feted their success with a gala on April 12 at Manhattan's swanky Gotham Hall. The event included music, dinner, a live auction, and most importantly, a star-studded lineup of appearances and performances from celebs (highlights included Duncan Sheik and members of the Broadway cast of his Spring Awakening singing "Totally F-ed" and a sketch titled "A Brief History of 25 Years of the Atlantic Theater Company," as performed by Bob Balaban, Emily Mortimer, Brian d'Arcy James and more!). We dropped by to commemorate the company's silver anniversary with a few photos--and we're looking forward to being there during the group's golden anniversary down the road!
