Hi Bibi and Hatchet
As a fairly newbie I am missing Michael very much. I have been acquiring some of his dvds before Pretender, most of which I have had to get from Amazon.com because the UK branch doesn't have them. I now have Remember Me, Net Worth and The Howling is at this very moment on its way to me. Also the TV station here that ran the Pretender has changed it's name to CBS Action and they are now doing re-runs of Season 3 on Sundays. To compensate for missing Michael I have bought two soft toy dogs which I keep on my bed, the smaller one is Mikey and the very large one is Jarod and they both get a big hug every morning, not as good as hugging the real thing of course. Chance would be a fine thing  .
I have booked myself another visit to Chicago for next year as on my last trip I only had one day there, this time I will have a week to see it better.

The Howling IV is cheesy but worth it lol! Net Worth and Remember Me are both awesome aren't they? I love Net Worth...for the obvious but also I really think it is a wonderful film!

Ah..good ole Chicago...so much there. One place to check out is the Chicago House of Blues in downtown. It's on Dearborn St. I saw Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar there back oh...I'd say in '99 or 2000. I went with 3 other friends. Although my friend Rik drove in downtown cuz the streets are narrow and the drivers were CRAZY lol. I only drove around downtown and on the Loop. Of course that was way before I moved out here and experienced Arizona drivers!

Cute names for the dogs! I don't think anyone here would complain lol! May I ask what breed they are? Or are you saying that they are STUFFED non-living toy dogs?

Mmm...the real thing...now that would be nice...wouldn't it?

Long time no hear, My dogs are STUFFED toys I bought the small one first which is why his name is Mikey, Jarod was just sitting all alone on the shelf in the store and I couldn't resist him, the friends I was with at the time thought I was crazy. I must say I prefer Remember Me to Net Worth although Michael isn't in it so much, I thought he made a great baddy for a change.
I have been to the USA many times but this last trip was the best I have ever done, I really enjoyed it, great company, great places and I made a lot of new friends along the way.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my new American friends on the Forum a Happy Thanksgiving wherever and whoever you are spending it with.

LOL! No don't get me wrong. I LOVE seeing him play a bad guy definitely!
I think I like Net Worth more because I relate to caring about and loving alcoholics. Whether they are friend, family or lover. Although, I have to admit...Remember Me is one of my other faves. I used to read a lot of Mary Higgins-Clark
books when I was growing up
