further to my bragging about spending the weekend with Michael, I was thinking, does anyone think that if NBC had sold The Pretender to a prime time tv station in the UK that there would have been a 5th season. Let's face it folks, British TV has shown some real turkeys that have come from the US over the years, but it seems odd that none of the major networks picked up The Pretender. Was it even offered does anyone know? Maybe even though it is a long time since it aired in the US one of the cable or satellite networks would pick it up, like Virgin for instance it is a fairly new channel to cable  it has only been going for a year or two so maybe they could be persuaded to buy. The channel is available to other viewers on Satellite and Freeview as well so it would have a wider audience than the Zone Thriller channel which is not even in the regular tv magazines, so unless you do what I did and surf all the satellite channels you would never know about Michael or Pretender.

I do not know. Maybe the Producers didn't want to have it go there...I don't know though good question.
